  • Preliminary discussions – LCF reviews a company's financing requirement in the context of market conditions and investor demand.
  • Structuring – LCF works with companies to structure the fund-raising.
  • Initial due diligence – LCF ensures that companies are investor-ready in terms of their corporate structures and business propositions. 
  • Transaction material – LCF helps each company to prepare an introductory note, slide presentation and information memorandum.
  • Investor meetings – LCF arranges for companies to meet the investment committee of LCIP (and its partners if appropriate) and other investors as required to meet the company’s fund-raising target.
  • Book-building – LCF develops a “book” of investor interest by coordinating investor responses and investment orders.
  • Detailed due diligence – LCF conducts more detailed due diligence on the investment opportunity, often by pursuing questions raised by potential investors.
  • Closing – LCF ensures that the issue of new shares and related corporate actions are documented correctly. LCF also coordinates the distribution of share certificates and EIS 3 forms (if applicable).
  • Post-investment communication – LCF helps companies to communicate with the investors that it has introduced.
